The Presscast Pressure over Vacuum Lost Wax Casting system is an ideal system for a production casting facility who is casting Gold, Silver, Aluminum and other materials.
Produced with a powerful 10kW power supply at a 6 KHz frequency, this melting circuit is ideal for metal mixing. The metal mixing that occurs, keeps the molten alloy completely homogeneous, keeping karat values consistent from melt to melt. The melting is performed under an inert atmosphere keeping the material free from oxide contamination, which is a major cause of inclusions and porosity instandard castings. After the material becomes molten, a stopper within the crucible is lifted and the pressure caused by the inert gas, pushes the molten metal into the flask mounted in the casting chamber. In addition to the over pressure the system is equipped with a powerful vacuum, which pull the molten material into the flask. The vacuum pull is especially useful when casting small detailed parts or filigree.
The Presscast is completely microprocessor controlled allowing the user to program up to 10 casting programs with up to 15 parameters per program. The control system give the user the flexibility and confidence to know that they will have consistent results from cast to cast once a process is developed.
The system can be fit with various flask sizes up to D4.75”xL12” (120x300mm) and is powered with a 220V, 3-phase line.
